The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), linked to the United Nations (UN), announced on Thursday (21st), Santiago (Chile), a report stating that South America will grow in 2010 more than expected. According to the report, the highest rate of growth of the region is Brazil, with 7.6%, followed by Uruguay and Paraguay (7%), Argentina (6.8%) and Peru (6.7%). The region's economy should suffer a boost of 5.2% this year.
